Yes! Trackable NZ is a Progressive Web App (PWA), which means it works even without internet. Your team can clock in and out anywhere, and data syncs automatically when they're back online.
No. GPS tracking is optional and can be enabled or disabled per employee from your dashboard. You can also adjust tracking intervals (5, 10, or 15 minutes) and disable location history while keeping clock-in location only.
Trackable NZ automatically calculates break entitlements based on the Employment Relations Act 2000. When an employee's shift reaches certain thresholds, the app displays their entitled paid rest breaks and unpaid meal breaks. You can configure paid rest break duration (10-30 minutes) in company settings.
Yes. Both employees and managers can edit past shifts — adjust clock times, add breaks, or modify travel time. Managers can also add manual shifts and finalize weeks to lock them for payroll.
You can export timesheets as CSV (for importing into payroll software like Xero) or PDF (for records and reporting). Exports can be filtered by date range, employee, or all staff.
Direct Xero integration is on our roadmap. For now, you can export to CSV which imports cleanly into Xero Payroll. We're working on a native integration for early 2026.
